The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) is an umbrella organization bringing together many different energy therapy workers.
Two Certification Tracks: DCEP and CEHP
ACEP has a Diplomate, Comprehensive Energy Psychology (DCEP) program track for licensed professions such as counselors, social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
The Certified Energy Health Practitioner (CEHP) track is for ancillary professions such as nurses, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and Naturopathic Doctors, as well as those who hold an advanced degree, certification, or authorization in a helping field such as healing touch, educator or child care professional, holistic health practitioner, coach, career counselor, authorized hospice worker, massage therapist, reflexologist, clergy, Heilpraktikum, etc.

- Soul Detective Badge
Soul Detective® Certification Requirements:
•Completion of all three levels of Soul Detective Training
•Eight Group Consultations •Ten Hours of Individual Work
•Mastery of Four Essential Skills •Ten Case Reports
More specific information on requirements:
1. Eight Group Consultations. A minimum of eight group consultations via teleconference (90 minutes each), to ask questions and present cases. Teleconferences are monthly, and the fee per group is $50. A student may attend more than eight teleconferences if desired, at the same rate. Individual consultations may be substituted for the group sessions, with one hour of individual consultation substituting for a 90 minute group.
2. Ten Hours of Individual Work. We need to be sure we have addressed our own “emotional loopholes” to do this work well. At least two hours need to be with Dr. Stone, and the other eight hours can be with other certified soul detectives or other students in the soul detective certification program.
3. Mastery of Four Essential Skills:
- CENTERING
- CLEARING REVERSALS
- BUILDING A CUSTOMIZED SEQUENCE
- HAVING CONFIDENCE IN YOUR ABILITY TO SELF-TEST.
4. Ten Case Reports. The certification candidate presents a summary of ten individual Soul Detective sessions in which the student is the therapist. Cases may be presented during group consultation, with feedback, at no additional charge. Cases may also be presented via mail or email for an additional charge of $20 per case, with review and feedback. They may also be presented during an individual consultation session.
Specifications for the case reports:
- All cases need to be issues that originate in the spiritual or intuitive realms.
- Each case report needs to address centering and what the practitioner did to be sure the system was organized.
- Build a customized treatment sequence in at least FIVE of the cases.
- Include all of these issues among the cases (a case may have more than one issue):
a. Earthbound Spirit Attachments
b. Past Life Trauma
c. Curse or Hex
d. Ancestral Wound
e. Vows
f. Energetic Cord
g. Optional: Detrimental Energy
Badge and Logo
Upon certification, and signing a legal agreement granting certification, a student gets a Soul Detective badge with their name on it and may call themselves a “Soul Detective” and use the Soul Detective badge and the Soul Detective logo in their advertising.
Initial certification is for a two-year period with a renewal date of either January 1st or July 1st, whichever comes first after the practitioner’s initial certification.
Certification Renewal
While renewal for the next 2-year period does not carry any renewal fee, it does require a minimum of four hours of continuing Soul Detective education which may be in the form of group teleconferences, individual consultations with Dr. Stone or another certified Soul Detective, or attending a Soul Detective training as a graduate with a 50% tuition discount.

The Soul Detective Approach
When past life trauma comes up as the origin of a problem, the Soul Detective protocol taught in this workshop provides students the opportunity to use muscle testing rather than hypnosis to gather information. After getting centered and getting spiritual permission to work with the past life, the protocol calls in spiritual help to work with the traumatic energy. Next muscle testing determines gender of that life, age at death, cause of death, and enough other identifying information so that the student can make an intuitive connection to that lifetime and then do energy tapping to clear the trauma involved.
Whether the soul of the student actually had the life in objective reality, or whether the life is fictional and the student simply has an emotional resonance to the problem, the life is treated “as if it were true” to give the student the opportunity for healing the emotions involved.
